• Position: Pharmacy Technician, Epic Pharmacy, Whyalla Hospital and Health Service, SA
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:45 pm. Enjoy weekends off!

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Dispense and supply medication for inpatients and outpatients
• Assist with the management of hospital imprest
• Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
• Assist with processing PBS claims
• Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees
• Inventory control and management
• Facilitate ordering chemotherapy treatment

Eligibility Requirements:

• Previous experience dispensing medication
• Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
• Must be available to work the days and hours listed for this position

Training will be provided to the successful candidate but an interest in this field and a passion for learning will be essential.
