The Role & Location
As a
Retail Sales Assistant
, you'll be primarily based at our
Lansdowne
branch. However, this role may require you to work at our other stores in Woodstock, Sea Point, Cape Quarter, Tygervalley Centre, and Somerset West. You'll be the heart of our store, providing excellent customer service and sharing your passion for homewares with a wide range of customers. You'll assist everyone from new homeowners to hospitality professionals looking to elevate their guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and assist a diverse clientele with a friendly, knowledgeable attitude. Offer design ideas for homes and help hospitality clients find the right products to meet their specific needs.
Sales:
Actively engage with customers, suggest complementary products, and promote our latest collections to drive sales.
Merchandising:
Help create stunning visual displays, arrange products to tell a story, and ensure the store is always neat, clean, and beautifully organized.
Operations:
Handle transactions accurately, manage returns and exchanges, and keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with your colleagues to meet sales targets and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
What We're Looking For
A genuine passion for homewares, interior design, and home decor.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
Good knowledge of public transport is a must if you don't use personal transport.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R7000,00 - R8000,00 per month
