Job Summary As a caregiver you will provide a wide range of daily tasks by assisting the allotted employee in managing their day-to-day activities within a working environment. You provide support with ambulation and mobility, personal care, and other tasks to ensure the client's comfort and well-being. Duties & Responsibilities Assist the allotted employee with the following personal services during working hours: ambulation and mobility around the office and during off-site appointments and meetings. Help the client carry their laptop, bag, and other personal items. Assist the client with eating and drinking on request. Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including toileting. In the event of overnight business travel, personal care and hygiene shall also include bathing, grooming and dressing. Offering emotional support and companionship to the employee as required. Report concerns relating to the employee's health condition to the EHS Officer. Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, following established protocols. Desired Experience & Qualification At minimum a Home-based Care Training Certificate from and accredited institution and 0-1 years' experience as a caregiver or in a related field. registration/membership with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and or the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) an added advantage Basic understanding of healthcare practices, including hygiene and infection control protocols.
