High School English Teacher

to join our dedicated team in 2026!

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the

Cambridge International Education curriculum

in the following Year Groups:

Year 9 IGCSE

Key Responsibilities:

The Educator is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lessons in accordance with the British International Curriculum.

Teach English to students in Years 9 and IGCSE in accordance with the British International Curriculum. Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards. Assess and monitor student performance, providing constructive feedback. Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school's academic and professional standards. Participate in professional development and contribute to the broader school community.
This position requires a dedicated and adaptable educator with a passion for academic excellence and student development. The appointed educator must ensure a dynamic and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and continuous student progress, in addition to being a proactive leader, capable of fostering a stimulating and inclusive educational environment aligned with Jacaranda International Pre-Primary and School's vision and values.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, with specialization in English Experience teaching English at secondary level, ideally with Cambridge and/or British International curriculum experience Strong subject matter expertise and the ability to engage students in critical and applied learning Excellent planning, communication, and digital integration skills
