Summary of duties are as follows:
Managing the company's health and safety requirements.
Implement, manage and maintain legislative requirements.
Compiling all safety files needed for the company projects.
Conducting all risk assessments for company projects / sites when required or requested, where such assessments shall include a method statement element and be specific to the site and tasks. Risk Assessments may require you to travel to site.
Auditing safety files post project completion.
Recording of Supervisor safety performance for future staff KPI's
Conducting investigations and recording of incidents, reporting where required and distribution to team leaders for avoidance learning.
Managing the company's AB Inbev safety system (HSEC Online) and ensuring all items are kept up to date.
Liaising with client safety agents and attending onsite safety audits where required.
Reviewing of company safety documentation from time to time and updating where required.
Evaluate skills training needs amongst employees and reporting to Directors.
Work with Supervisors and Site Managers to improve the company's Health & Safety.
Initiate and conduct monthly HSE meetings with all stakeholders and/or Site Supervisors.
Managing the Junior Safety whilst they are still employed.
Qualification requirements:
Experience in Occupational Health and Safety (EHS)
Qualifications in HIRA, Incident Investigations and Fall Protection Planning.
SACPCMP registration
Have a valid driver's license
Strong knowledge of Industrial Safety practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work on-site and manage safety protocols effectively
Relevant certifications in health and safety management are a plus
