RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced HEALTH & SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR (LOGISTICS INDUSTRY) for a well-established, growing logistics concern, position based in Camperdown, KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

National Diploma in Safety Management.

Drivers license / own reliable vehicle.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel / MS Word skills.

2yrs+ previous working experience in health and safety audits.

Compile and implement safety programs.

Practice safe working techniques.

Implement and maintain health and safety standards.

Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.

Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.

Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.

Standardize health and safety to remain consistent.

Identify hazardous waste and disposing of it correctly.

Promote safety initiatives.

Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.

Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.

Regularly inspect equipment, vehicles, and conduct site visits.

Ensure evacuation plans are updated and in place and emergency drills are kept updated.

All safety signs are up and always kept updated.

Updating the health and safety file.

Train all safety officials.
