Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Qualification - Grade 12.
• Experience in the mining industry will be to your advantage.
• Experience in Health & Safety will be to your advantage.
• Drivers Licence - EB driver's license will be to your advantage.
• Good communication skills and a good employment record with contactable references.
• Trustworthy, dedicated and able to work without supervision.
• Candidate must be willing to undergo medical, inductions & training and be fit to work in the Mining, Industrial and related industries.
• Must have own transport.
• Candidate must be willing to sleep over, travel and be prepared to work overtime when required.
• No criminal record or pending judgments.
• Nothing is more important to us than ensuring your safety, the candidate must be willing and conform to the most rigorous safety standards in the mining industry.
• Customer service orientation and results delivery focused.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Report to Safety Officer.
• Compiling of safety and working files.
• Bookings of Medicals, Inductions, A2, Legal liability, Teba, Pit, LDV & Plant licenses.
• Updating safety files on site, office duplicate files, technicians working files & online portal files.
• Safety meetings and conduct premises checklists.
• Issuing of PPE for technicians and assistants.
