Job Summary We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company with in the construction environment. We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across the workplace to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Identify hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement. Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of workplace safety. Collaborate with department heads to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain safety records and documentation in compliance with legal and company standards. Lead safety meetings and awareness campaigns. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. Ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Certification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) SACPCMP CHSO/ Candidate CHSO registration is required. The position will require you to travel across KZN code 8 license is required. There will also be the need for evening inspections.
