Responsible for the implementation of the Health & Safety and Wellbeing strategy. Ensure the management of supplier and client HSE performance.
Ensuring that all employees have the most suitable working environment.
Key accountabilities:
Planning, coordination & management to ensure efficient delivery of HSE in projects
Efficient and effective rollout of HSE strategy
Ensure client HSE requirements are met
Incident management
Conduct continuous risk assessments and ensure projects, building and workplace compliance to HSE legislative requirements
Contractor vettings and management with follow up on any deficiencies
Ensure emergency response teams are established, appointed, and trained to comply with OHS Act and regulations
Respond to emergencies and urgent projects as they arise.
Conduct new employee HSE inductions
Reporting on monthly and quarterly HSE performance and as and when required
Establish and manage sound collaborative relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders and suppliers
