Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their mining company based in Limpopo.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety programs aligned with legal, company, and industry standards
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify and reduce safety hazards
- Perform routine safety audits to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety training to staff, contractors, and subcontractors
- Monitor compliance with health and safety laws and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams and sites
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Safety Management
- Advanced First Aid and Fire fighting certification
- 10 years' experience in a Safety position where 5 years' should be in a Supervisory/Managerial position.
- Extensive experience in a plant environment within the mining industry.
- Must have hands-on experience with the DMRE
- Strong root cause analysis experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: R600K - R700K P/A
