Align Service Teams to product and service value-chain processes through development and implementation of functional operational strategies and models, enabling high performance teams and customer satisfaction, reducing quality risks and drive compliance.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Manage Direct and Indirect Sales Teams

  • Manages all aspects of employee performance for managers reporting into this function (Direct imaging sales manager, direct laboratory sales manager, indirect / partner channel professional)
  • Establishment and tracking of key objectives to achieve strategic goals of each functional team.
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to reach goals.
  • Ensures Strategic account plans are created, maintained, and implemented by the team to achieve goals.
  • Mentoring and coaching team.
  • Daily support of the team in their respective functions.
  • Ensure qualification level of team members is maintained (selling techniques, product knowledge).
  • Manage and arrange team presence at marketing events, congresses, and promotional events.
  • Maintains and develops relationships with key/strategic customers and partners on appropriate management levels.
  • Assists in positioning and negotiating strategic sales orders with customers where applicable.
Manage team budget and analytical market data.
  • Management of accurate sales figures, KPIxe2x80x99s and target progress across all sales pillars
  • Provides ongoing accurate forecasts on orders and revenue progress.
  • Ensure effective use of all sales tools across the sales force i.e., Oracle Sales Cloud
  • Ensure the sales database and forecast / pipeline are accurately always updated.
Position deliverables
  • The position involves overall sales management of Diagnostic Imaging, Advanced Therapies, Laboratory Diagnostics
  • This position will be responsible for driving overall sales growth within Siemens Healthineers. This involves line management of (but not limited to):
  • Direct Imaging Sales manager and team
  • Direct Laboratory Sales manager and team
  • Indirect / partner channel professionals
The role will have to work closely and develop relationships with
  • Customer Services team (technical)
  • Marketing, Communications, CRM team
  • Partner Governance professional
  • Requires in depth understanding of the organizational behaviour and upstream projections from local business partners and channel owners.
  • Develop and drive the implementation of the strategy for all markets within the positionxe2x80x99s responsibility.
  • Managing relationships with existing stakeholders: this involves developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, monitoring their performance, and addressing any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Identifying and recruiting new business partners: this involves identifying potential partners in new markets, conducting research to determine their suitability, and negotiating agreements with them.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies: this involves working with all stakeholders to develop and implement effective sales strategies that will help increase revenue and expand the companyxe2x80x99s reach in new and existing markets.
  • Providing training and support to Stakeholders: this involves providing training and support to relevant stakeholders to help them understand the companyxe2x80x99s products and services, and to help them succeed in their sales efforts.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies: this involves ensuring that all Stakeholders are complying with relevant regulations and company policies, and taking appropriate action if any violations occur.
  • Analysing data and monitoring performance: this involves analysing data related to sales performance and market trends and using that information to make strategic decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration with other departments: this involves collaborating with other departments within the company, such as marketing, finance, compliance, Customer Services etc, to ensure that all aspects of the companyxe2x80x99s business partnerships are aligned and working together effectively.
Market Presence and Customers
  • Ensure clear market transparency of all respective countries and communicate such to broader team to enable impact(s) of trends, competitive position, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Define and ensure successful implementation of go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct, communicate and implement business plans, financial forecasts, and business reviews.
Management of Business Partners

The position will have to ensure effective management of business partners and governance of sales through business partners in other countries, involves managing existing relationships and recruiting new partners, developing, and implementing go to market strategies, oversight of the providing training and support, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, analysing data, and collaborating with other departments.

This role is critical in helping the company expand its reach and increase revenue through effective partnerships with other businesses.

Your qualifications and experience:

Education: A bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in business administration, Marketing of any other related field is essential. An advanced degree or an MBA may be an added advantage.

Experience: 8 xe2x80x93 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in sales and/or marketing roles, preferably in business-to-business environment. Experience in managing partnerships, alliances, or channels is also necessary.

Knowledge: Good understanding of the medical / healthcare industry and the competitive landscape within the industry. Must have knowledge of marketing, sales, and business development strategies.

Communication skills: Strong communication skills are essential to interact with partners, customers, and internal teams. Effective communication in both verbal and written forms are essential.

Relationship management: Must be able to build strong relationships with partners and other stakeholders. Must have strong negotiation skills and able to resolve conflicts effectively and efficiently.

Analytical skills: Must be able to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Must have strong problem-solving skills and able to develop strategies that align with the companyxe2x80x99s goals and objectives.

Leadership skills: Must be able to lead teams, motivate teams and individuals, and provide guidance when needed. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Technical skills: Must have proficiency in using CRM tools, marketing automation tools and other relevant software.

  • Must be a South African National
  • Must have a valid passport.
  • Must have a valid South African driverxe2x80x99s license.
  • Must not have restrictions to travel within SADC and abroad.
  • Must be available on short notice to travel country wide and to Africa due to operational requirements and on long term projects as well as travel outside of the region to assist nationally.
  • Excellence, Quality and Compliance in the daily interactions, operations and reporting is not a negotiable requirement, but mandatory for this role.
