Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) - advantageous.
Minimum 8 - 10 years project management experience, with at least 3 - 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects (renewable energy, EPC, or infrastructure preferred).
Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Project Management function.
Develop and implement project delivery frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Contribute to business strategy, growth initiatives, and operational planning.
Build, lead, mentor, and performance-manage Project Managers and project teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Project Delivery & Governance
Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, to close-out.
Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management standards.
Establish and maintain project governance structures, reporting, and escalation mechanisms.
Review and approve project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
Manage portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple projects.
Financial & Commercial Management
Accountable for project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and margin protection.
Work closely with Finance to monitor project financial performance and cash flow.
Support contract negotiations, claims management, variations, and dispute resolution.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project financials and performance metrics.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as a senior escalation point for clients, partners, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations teams.
Represent the Projects function in executive and client forums.
Compliance, Quality & Safety
Ensure all projects comply with regulatory, contractual, HSE, and quality requirements.
Drive a strong safety culture across all project sites and teams.
Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective actions where required.
