Role Purpose
The Head of Operations Guardrisk Insurance Cell Captives will oversee the execution of client service level agreements (SLAs) and manage the operationalisation and rollout of digital client engagement solutions to deliver superior client experiences.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or related field (master's preferred).
Experience
5-10 Years' experience in operations management, with strong focus on business improvement and project delivery.
Proven record of accomplishment in implementing client-centric operational strategies.
Strong knowledge of financial services/insurance industry (Guardrisk context advantageous).
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Must have lead a process of operationalisation of strategy developed for the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Client value proposition
Translate this Guardrisk business units' strategy and related OKR's and client value proposition into operational strategies and measurable outcomes.
Ensure alignment of operational processes with client-centric goals and business objectives across multiple divisional functions.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between the respective functional teams to ensure delivery of relevant key strategic objectives;
Assist in facilitating full life cycle strategy development and operationalisation of the strategy;
Collaborate with key stakeholders such as the PMO office, Technology COE, and Data COE to achieve OKR's as defined.
Client Service level agreements (SLA)
Oversee the monitoring and achievement of SLAs across all operational functions.
Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery of agreed service standards.
Client engagement solutions
Lead the operational implementation of innovative client engagement solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engagement
Business Improvement Projects
Leading projects that enhance operational effectiveness, streamline processes, and support the achievement of the Guardrisk business units' strategic objectives.
Act as the operations project lead for business improvement initiatives.
Apply project management methodologies to deliver operational transformation projects on time and within budget.
Champion change management practices to embed new ways of working.
Leadership & collaboration
Assist the business unit to develop strategy and ensure strategy operationalisation as part of the business unit Manco responsible for operations.
Provide strategic leadership to operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with senior stakeholders to align operational initiatives with Guardrisk's broader business strategy.
Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal risk policies.
Support the preparation of product filing and presentations for regulatory authorities.
