We are seeking a visionary and experienced education professional to join our team as Head of Education.

Position Overview:

The Head of Education will serve as the academic and pedagogical leader of Molo Mhlaba Schools. This role is responsible for shaping and implementing our educational vision, maintaining high academic standards, and ensuring the professional development of teaching staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the school management team to create an environment that promotes excellence in learning, innovation in teaching, and holistic development for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school's academic programs, policies, and curricula. Ensure compliance with national education standards, regulations, and reporting requirements. Provide instructional leadership and mentorship to teaching staff, fostering continuous professional growth. Monitor and analyse learner performance data to drive improvements in teaching and learning outcomes. Collaborate with school management, parents, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Promote the integration of technology and innovative teaching methodologies across all grade levels. Oversee teacher recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives. Foster an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and character development. Lead and manage academic projects, school assessments, and enrichment programs.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Education. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Deep knowledge of curriculum development, assessment strategies, and pedagogy. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students. Experience with data-driven decision-making and educational technology integration. Commitment to fostering inclusive education and holistic learner development.
