Are you a passionate and experienced leader who loves working with children? Do you have the skills to run a vibrant, safe, and engaging aftercare program?Pinelands NorthPrimary School is seeking a dedicated, organised, and enthusiastic professional to take charge of our aftercare program, lead our team to excellence, and create a safe, fun, and enriching environment where learners can thrive.
This full-time position includes 27 days of annual leave (excluding school holidays) and involves planning, implementing, and overseeing daily aftercare activities as well as the holiday program.
Minimum Requirements
BEd qualification and valid police clearance. Minimum of 7 years' experience working with children. Proven experience in managing a team. Fluent in English (verbal and written). Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a safe, structured and engaging environment for children. Proficiency in computer literacy; experience with Google Suite advantageous. Basic First Aid qualification advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the aftercare program with a "home away from home" ethos Supervise and assist learners with homework Complete registers, reports and administrative tasks accurately Ensure learners' safety and well-being Manage attendance and participation in extracurricular activities Support effective communication with stakeholders * Work collaboratively in a team and take initiative
