Job Summary Our client, a prestigious Luxury Tented Camp nestled in the heart of the Limpopo wilderness, is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Guide to lead their guiding team. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a world-class environment that blends conservation, guest experience, and authentic safari hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of guides and trackers to ensure exceptional guest experiences on every game drive and walking safari. Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance management for the guiding team. Conduct interpretive and educational safaris that inspire guests and deepen their connection with nature. Maintain all guiding equipment and ensure vehicles are kept in pristine condition. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure guest wellbeing at all times. Contribute to the camp's conservation and environmental initiatives. Minimum Requirements: FGASA Level 2 (minimum) or equivalent qualification. Valid PDP, First Aid Certificate, and Rifle Competency. At least 3-5 years of experience as a guide in a 5-star lodge or luxury safari environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and guest interaction abilities. A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and delivering world-class experiences.
