A leading company in South Africa, committed to sustainable farming practices and empowering rural communities. With a rich legacy spanning decades is looking for a Head of Group Finance.

This position is based in the North West province, surrounded by the beauty of South Africa's agricultural heartland.

Calling out all Head of Finance with Group exposure, you will be responsible for directing, managing and coordinating Group Finance responsibilities in terms of internal and external reporting, accounting and the group control environment. Reach out to

Duties:

• Manage Group Finance: Interpret Business Plan and Strategy.
• Define specific goals and objectives.
• Corporate Financial Management: Manage and review corporate budgets and forecast.
• Corporate Controls and process improvements.
• Manage, direct and guide accountants on improving corporate controls.
• Ensure financial and accounting policies is relevant.
• Manage control and discipline of the Group.
• Monthly Group Financial Reporting: Manage and direct the planning & coordination of month end close, consolidation process and reporting

Process optimisation. * Interim and annual Financial Reporting (Statutory reporting).

• Review the financial statements of other small entities within the Group.
• Ensure the Financial statements is aligned with IFRS standards.
• Manage and develop staff : Support employees during the development process.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed Articles
• 5 years post article experience in financial accounting and group consolidations, corporate controls and process improvement ; Financial management Manage and develop staff.
• Must have exposure within a group setting

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and driving results.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
