Requirements



An appropriate BTech or Degree qualification in Mechanical/

Transport Management/ Road Transport Economics



5 - 8 years 'proven track record in fleet management, fleet/plant

maintenance and managing and controlling workshop related



activities and experience in an automotive environment, tender



and contract management and negotiations



Experience in managing personnel Knowledge, Understanding and Experience of legislative

environment this post operates in.



Advanced Computer literacy (MS Office applications

(including (MS Project Management) and SAP PM)



Knowledge of Fleet Maintenance Systems would be

advantageous.



A valid driver's licence

Key Performance Areas



Manage life cycle of the Fleet and Plant Manage the Fleet Capital Budget Compile and Manage the Fleet Operating Budget Develop and update Policies and Processes that facilitates

effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of Urban Waste



Management (UWM) Fleet Management



Manage Internal and External Service Level Agreements Manage and Control Fleet Optimization by ensuring the

Waste Fleet and Plant are Optimally Occupied and utilized in



accordance with needs and fleet composition



Ensuring Statutory Compliance of Fleet Operations Manage the provision of Fleet HR Administrational Functions Manage the provision of Fleet Administrational Functions by

ensuring the UWM Fleet is managed cost effective and efficiently,



proper records are kept, and full compliance with all statutory



requirements is met.
