We're looking for a passionate

Head Chef

who can lead with creativity, elevate the guest experience, and manage a dynamic kitchen team while keeping our brand fresh, bold, and authentic.

Key Responsibilities Culinary Leadership & Creativity



Develop and execute an innovative menu centered on curries and contemporary spice-driven dishes. Balance authenticity and originality -- drawing inspiration from Indian, African, and global cuisines. Introduce seasonal specials and tasting experiences to enhance customer excitement and engagement. Maintain exceptional taste, presentation, and consistency across all dishes.

Team Leadership & Kitchen Management



Lead, train, and mentor a passionate kitchen team to uphold quality and efficiency. Create a positive, collaborative kitchen culture that values respect, learning, and pride in craft. Manage staff scheduling, workflow, and kitchen discipline. Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Operational Excellence



Control food and labor costs through effective planning and portion management. Oversee stock control, supplier quality, and purchasing to ensure cost-effective operations. Collaborate with the restaurant manager to manage budgets, menu pricing, and profit margins. Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness to professional standards.

Guest Experience & Brand Collaboration



Work closely with front-of-house management and marketing teams to align culinary offerings with brand vision. Engage with guests and incorporate feedback to refine the dining experience. Participate in menu launches, tastings, and special events that showcase the restaurant's innovation.

Qualifications & Experience



Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior chef role, with at least 2 years as Head Chef or Sous Chef in a quality dining environment. Expertise in curry-based or spice-driven cuisine (Indian, fusion, or modern global). Formal culinary qualification or equivalent professional training preferred. Proven track record of menu innovation, team leadership, and operational control. Excellent understanding of flavor balance, texture, and plating aesthetics.
