Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and self-sufficient Head Chef with a proven ability to manage a high-performing kitchen, capable of handling service for up to 300 guests. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong culinary vision and a commitment to delivering quality at scale.



Key Responsibilities



Menu Development:

Create and update innovative menus that appeal to a broad clientele, incorporating seasonal and locally inspired dishes.



Kitchen Operations:

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service during both regular dining and special events.



Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and mentor a dedicated team of chefs and kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.



Stock & Supplier Management:

Manage food inventory and supplier relationships, ensuring optimal stock levels and ingredient quality.



Quality & Consistency:

Maintain high standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation across all menu items.



Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations within the kitchen.



Cost Control:

Monitor kitchen expenditures, manage food and labor costs, and implement effective cost-saving strategies.



Candidate Profile



Demonstrated experience as a Head or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment (serving up to 300 guests).



Relevant culinary qualification or certification.



Deep knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavor profiles, and modern plating.



Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.



Highly organized and efficient with excellent multitasking abilities.



Creative thinker with a flair for menu innovation and event catering.



Strong understanding of kitchen compliance standards and food safety protocols.



Confident working independently, with sound decision-making skills.
