Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all BOH operations, including food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and daily service Maintain high standards of food safety and compliance with R638 and internal SOPs Develop and maintain prep lists, batch records, and cleaning schedules Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistent execution of recipes and presentation Monitor stock levels, ordering, waste control, and supplier relations Work closely with FOH and management to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:

5+ years' experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy restaurant or franchise environment Proven leadership and team management skills Solid understanding of cost control, portioning, and kitchen administration Familiarity with HACCP or R638 food safety standards Ability to work weekends and public holidays Culinary qualification or trade test (advantageous but not essential)
