The Head chef will be responsible to develop and standardize recipes, maintain safety and sanitation in the kitchen, maintain equipment, design food presentation aesthetics, choose special menu items, and designs as well as determining menu prices. He will also be responsible for hiring and training new kitchen personnel. Additionally, Chefs are tasked to supervise all kitchen workers, including performance reviews, and take disciplinary action when necessary. Chefs may also need to assist in the preparation of meals in the kitchen during peak times.
