Job Summary

• Matric & Related Qualification
• 3-5 Years experience as a MAJOR consumer packaged goods, retail or entertainment company in either a brand marketing or licensing role
• Sales experience and knowledge of South African retail environment
• Product knowledge on toy, stationery, sporting goods, etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• New business development experience where you identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events
• Business maintenance experience where you act as the frontline person
• Hard Lines contract / deals where you have experience in negotiations and facilitating contract administration and management
• Internal and external communication
• Hard Lines and Publishing sales and finance management including product selection, promotion, advertising and PR
• Hard Lines and Publishing retailer relationship management
• Strategic marketing plans where you inform strategy around annual marketing plans
• Leadership / interaction with business partners, be a team player, facilitator and key contributor
• Reporting on quarterly and annual forecasts for soft line licenses
• Own car, backup power and WIFI in non-negotiable
