We arenow accepting applications for a
Handyman (Hotel Maintenance)
in our Maintenance department - someone with drive and passion for the industry, with the ability to keep up with the high pace, and a sincere commitment to exceed expectations.The ideal candidate will be creative, have a keen eye for detail, be able to work be energetic and work well in a team
The position also requires that the candidate has a minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent, and 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience within a 4/5 environment will be advantageous.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide overall maintenance; To provide both preventive and repair maintenance; Minor carpentry and plumbing projects; Configuring and moving furniture; Replacing lightbulbs & painting; Pool maintenance (fountain & jacuzzi); Tiling & brick laying; Assist the maintenance team as needed; Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates who have their own accommodation in George / surrounds, who are prepared to work weekends, Public holiday and shifts, and who are fit and able to carry out the normal responsibilities attached to this role.
