Half Day Art Gallery Consultant
Job Description
:An internationally renowned art gallery is seeking a Gallery Sales Consultant, to deliver exceptional client experiences in a prestigious art environment. This is a permanent half-day position from Monday to Friday (working hours for the first shift of the day is from 8:45-13:00 and the second shift from 12:45-17:00). Shifts will alternate from week to week.This role involves engaging high-profile collectors with expert knowledge of bronze artworks, providing tailored guidance to match clients aesthetic goals.Responsibilities include facilitating discreet sales, coordinating viewings, maintaining the gallerys elegant presentation, and building lasting clients relationships. The ideal candidate is articulate, passionate about art, thrives in an exclusive setting and upholding the gallerys esteemed reputation.Duties will include:
- Art sales
- Assisting clients with information
- Corresponding with clients in person, via email or telephonically
- Record clients interest
- Alerting the manager to maintenance issues and supplies for gallery
- Able to facilitate maintenance and liaising with the property management company
- Stock take once a month
- Opening and closing of the gallery
- Keeping the gallery presentable
- Candidate must be presentable
- Able to market art to high net worth individuals
- Articulate
- Computer literate
- Well organised
- Honest, trustworthy and reliable
