Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and reliable African Hair Dresser to join our salon. The ideal candidate must be passionate about hair styling, willing to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Perform neat and professional African hair braiding styles
Carry out hair installations (including sew-ins and protective styles)
Install, style, and maintain wigs
Keep workstations tidy and clean up after each client
Maintain overall salon cleanliness and hygiene at all times
Follow instructions, salon rules, and client preferences
Provide professional and respectful customer service
Be open to learning new techniques and improving skills
Requirements:
Proven experience in African hair braiding
Ability to braid neatly and efficiently
Knowledge of hair installations
Experience with wig installation and styling
Professional attitude and good work ethic
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Clean, tidy, and well organised work habits
Preferred Qualities:
Punctual and dependable
Team-oriented
Passionate about hair and beauty
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R4000,00 - R11000,00 per month
License/Certification:
NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy (Preferred)
