Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Hairdresser to join our team, providing exceptional hair and grooming services to our clients. The ideal candidate should be experienced, knowledgeable in the latest barbering techniques, and dedicated to delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Services

You need to be fully confident working across a broad range of hairstyling and grooming services, including:

Cutting and Styling

Scissor and clipper cuts for all hair types: straight, curly, coily, and afro-textured Advanced fades: low, mid, high, and skin fades Pattern or line designs (an advantage, not essential) Creative finishing, styling, and blowouts

Colour and Chemical Services

Semi-permanent, demi-permanent, and permanent colour applications Keratin smoothing (KST/Brazilian) for hair and beard grooming Product knowledge across colour, treatments, and after-care

Grooming Services

Hot towel shaves and clipper shaves Beard shaping, maintenance, and treatment services Facial threading: brows and cheeks Facial waxing: ears and nose

Additional Duties

Keep your station spotless and work with top-tier hygiene standards Recommend products and after-care confidently Build strong client relationships that drive repeat bookings Manage time and appointments with precision

Qualifications and Competence

Hairstyling or barbering certification from an accredited institution At least 2 years of hands-on experience with a diverse client base Strong command of both classic and modern cutting and styling techniques Comfortable with chemical services, colour work, and keratin treatments Solid understanding of tools, equipment, and professional sanitation standards
