Guesthouse Manager
:
Job Duties:

  • Managing all aspects of the guest house operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Overseeing staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and managing budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Education:
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality management
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of booking systems and hotel management software
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a guest house or boutique hotel setting
  • Certification in food hygiene and safety
