Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out
Answer guest questions and handle concerns in a calm and professional way
Assist with billing queries and explain hotel services clearly
Answer phones, manage emails, and handle bookings using Semper
Keep guest records updated, including preferences and special requests
Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs
Arrange dining reservations (via Dineplan ), spa bookings, and excursions
Provide information on local attractions and events in Cape Town
Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth service
Handle wake-up calls, in-room dining requests, and other guest needs
High school certificate or equivalent (hospitality qualification is an advantage)
At least 1 year of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role
Experience in a 5-star or luxury environment is preferred
Experience using the Semper system is strongly preferred
Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
Professional appearance and friendly manner
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Well organised and able to work under pressure
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Travel experience (local or international) is an advantage
Own transport preferred
