What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Preparing and filing income tax, VAT, PAYE, and ETI returns for multiple group entities
  • Designing smart tax strategies to optimise assessed losses and reduce liabilities
  • Ensuring we're squeaky clean when it comes to tax laws and compliance
  • Managing tax audits and engaging with external auditors and authorities without flinching
  • Interpreting financial data to surface tax implications that actually matter
  • Keeping our tax records neat, tidy, and ready for any surprise inspections
  • Advising internal teams on tax questions that make everyone else's eyes glaze over -- but not yours
What You'll Need to Bring (Besides a Good Sense of Humour and a Calculator):
  • Honours degree in Taxation
  • Registered Tax Practitioner (SAIT)
  • 2-5 years' post-SAIT articles experience
  • A solid grasp of South African tax legislation (you probably read it for fun)
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence with SAP and tax platforms.
