What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Preparing and filing income tax, VAT, PAYE, and ETI returns for multiple group entities
- Designing smart tax strategies to optimise assessed losses and reduce liabilities
- Ensuring we're squeaky clean when it comes to tax laws and compliance
- Managing tax audits and engaging with external auditors and authorities without flinching
- Interpreting financial data to surface tax implications that actually matter
- Keeping our tax records neat, tidy, and ready for any surprise inspections
- Advising internal teams on tax questions that make everyone else's eyes glaze over -- but not yours
- Honours degree in Taxation
- Registered Tax Practitioner (SAIT)
- 2-5 years' post-SAIT articles experience
- A solid grasp of South African tax legislation (you probably read it for fun)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence with SAP and tax platforms.
