Group Reporting Manager

Job Description
The successful candidate will be ensuring compliance with IFRS by implementing consistent accounting solutions for transactions and collaborating with the Group Financial Reporting team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage annual and monthly consolidated results and reporting to Executives and Board
- Plan and manage budgeting and forecasting process and consolidations
- Manage the presentation and review of annual financial statements for integratedreport and reporting on SENS
- Prepare forecast and budgeting reporting
- Manage monthly results and reporting to Executives
- Manage the annual external audit process
- Manage and ensure IFRS compliance
- Staff management of direct reports in Reporting team
- Provide technical expertise of Accounting in terms of IFRS for proposed transactions /legal agreements
- Focus on ways to improve efficiency and reporting to meet stakeholder needs
- Focus on consolidation and reporting process efficiency
- Group Reporting Policy preparation and monitoring to meet internal control standards
- Project Manage consolidation system changes and upgrades
- Ad hoc projects for Mergers and Acquisitions and support for Executives and the Group Financial Manager
- CA(SA)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a group reporting management position with a listed group
- Automated consolidation system experience (Hyperion, SAP BPC, Cognos)
- Cognos Controller experience would be an advantage
- Excellent and current knowledge of IFRS, JSE requirements and modern reporting practices
