Overview

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Group Reporting Accountant

to join our finance team. This is a key role responsible for preparing statutory accounts, managing group consolidations, leading audits, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare annual financial statements (AFS) in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP Lead group consolidations and resolve intercompany eliminations Manage audit preparation and liaise with external auditors Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews Oversee VAT reviews, submissions, and compliance Review and sign-off financial outputs from team members Support policy implementation and new jurisdiction accounting setup

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

Fully qualified CA(SA), ACCA, or equivalent

Experience:

4-6 years total, with 2+ years post-articles in reporting, consolidation, or audit

Skills:

Strong IFRS and statutory reporting knowledge, AFS preparation, audit liaison

Systems:

Advanced Excel, consolidation software experience preferred

Bonus:

Experience with cross-border reporting or multinational structures

SALARY IS MARKET RELATED AND COMMENSURATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: R45000,00 - R65000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Halfway House, Gauteng 1685: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
