Job Role





We are looking for a Group Payroll Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments of our people across the group and accurate payroll records. The Group Payroll coordinator will also collaborate with various departments to gather and validate payroll information, resolve payroll discrepancies and provide exceptional service to our employees.



The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of payroll regulations, exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities




Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing for the Group across multiple regions across Europe, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration, such as pension fund, insurance and healthcare plans. Acting as the point of contact for external payroll bureaus for UK, IRE, Spain, Lithuania, Italy, Bulgaria, Sweden, Ukraine payrolls. Preparing payroll reports, including income tax returns, P11D and pension/autoenrollment fillings and posting necessary accounting entries to the system. Process and pay employee expenses, subcontractor payments and staff credit cards as part of various payrolls in the Group. Conducting regular payroll audits and ensuring compliance with national laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements - keeping up to date with changing regulations and advising the business of same. Maintaining accurate employee records, including attendance, leave and personal information. Collaborating with the human resources and finance departments to seamlessly integrate payroll and employee data. Processing new hires, terminations, promotions and other employee status changes in the payroll system, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.



Requirements



Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources or a related field. 4+ years of experience in payroll management or a similar accounting role. In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, labour laws, taxation and statutory compliance. Experience in handling payroll audits, inspections and compliance assessments. Proficiency in payroll software with experience implementing and managing payroll systems. Excellent understanding of financial principles and the ability to reconcile payroll with financial records. Make and reconcile payments to third parties. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex payroll calculation data. Good organisational and time management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation. High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Deductive reasoning for analysing raw payroll data and using it to develop and refine payroll policies. Trouble shoot employee queries with external bureaus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.



Preferred skills and qualifications




Relevant professional certification in payroll management, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to payroll. Ability to adapt to changing payroll regulations and implement necessary updates. Mathematics for calculating taxes and employee wages Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office suite and payroll software Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication, including active listening and report writing * Organised work ethic and multi-tasking
