Job Description

Job Summary
Manage, motivate, and encourage the finance team to achieve business and departmental goals.
Translate Business objectives into measurable and tangible targets for the finance team.
Ensure efficient financial information systems are in place and financial reporting is aligned with group reporting requirements.
Implement the accounting processes and controls within the finance function (e.g. Fixed assets, stock, debtors, loans, creditors, VAT, and cashbook.)
Manage the budget and forecast process via an interface with operational financial managers.
Control the group cash flow to ensure operational requirements are supported.
Maintain the necessary banking facilities in collaboration with the various banking institutions.
Implement audit requirements and processes to ensure that a timeous and effective audit is performed.
Monitor and ensure best practice processes are in place to ensure compliance with Income Tax legislation and BBBEE regulations
