We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Financial Manager in the Real Estate Services division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of real estate services, ensuring optimal financial performance and growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial management within the real estate industry, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive financial success in this specialized sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures specific to the real estate services division.
• Manage and monitor the financial performance of the real estate services portfolio, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes for real estate projects and services, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis of real estate investments, including feasibility studies, cash flow projections, and return on investment analysis.
• Monitor and analyze real estate market trends, identifying opportunities and risks for the company's real estate services.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate industry.
• Collaborate with real estate teams, including property managers and brokers, to optimize financial performance and drive value creation.
• Lead and mentor the finance team within the real estate services division, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management on real estate-related matters, contributing to key decision-making processes.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize financial systems and processes within the real estate services division to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Qualified CA(SA)
• 5 years + experience as a Financial Manager or similar role within the real estate industry, preferably in real estate services.
• Strong knowledge of real estate financial analysis, property accounting principles, and financial reporting specific to real estate services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data within the real estate context.
• Proficiency in financial software applications and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing a high-performing finance team.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate real estate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within the dynamic real estate industry.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making processes related to real estate services.
