Job description:

External user report preparation, including statutory financial statements, board/shareholder reports and banker reporting.
Development of accounting policies that are pertinent to the organisation.
Ensure compliance with relevant pieces of legislation (Companies Act etc)
Ensure appropriate accounting treatment by keeping up to date with the various accounting standards.
Co-ordinate and assist with the year-end audit process with various auditors in the Group.
Reporting financial information within the organisation to assist in decision-making.
Prepare /oversee the development of pricing models that support the business goals.
Responsible for the management accounting and reporting function for some legal entities in the Group, including offshore entities.
Prepare/oversee project costing as well as evaluation exercises with the business.
Oversee the consolidation of budgets, forecasts and monthly management accounts process.
Oversee the preparation of the provisional tax returns, final tax returns and other taxes as required for the South African-based companies within the Group in conjunction with the tax advisor
