Job Description


MAP-SA Finance is searching for a Group Financial Manager to join the department in Meadowview. The purpose of this position is to work closely with the CFO for Motus Aftermarket Parts South Africa in all aspects to achieve success and ensure accurate on-time reporting, strong internal controls, and financial analysis

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the month-end close to deliver accurate results for the MAP SA Division
  • Reporting and analysis on key results with understanding of the drivers for variances to budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, Tax and any other statutory reporting requirements
  • Manage and motivate team members.
  • Design, implement and measure compliance of central financial controls
  • Manage the Head Office accounts, including the Operational Department expenses, reporting to various Exco Members.
  • Compile budgets and forecasts.
  • Responsible for external relationship with bankers, Insurers, as well as Motus internal relationships such as Group Treasury, Group Financial Services, etc.
  • Manage the internal and external audit processes to ensure clean audit outcomes.
  • Manage day-to-day head office financial responsibilities such as cashflow, banking accesses, forex purchases, VAT and tax submissions, etc.
Qualifications:
  • CA(SA)
Requirements:
  • Over 6 years post articles experience
  • 5 years' knowledge and experience of financial management and reporting at a group level.
  • Management experience-Essential
  • Ability to communicate on all levels across the group.
  • Assertive with sound interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to liaise and work with admin staff in different branches around the country.
