Seeking a Financial Visionary: Join our client as a Group Financial Manager!Are you a skilled financial professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and effective financial reporting? A leading retail group in South Africa, is seeking a talented Group Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town. If you have a strong background in financial consolidation, IFRS, and reporting, this could be the perfect role for you.As the Group Financial Manager, you will play a critical role in producing reliable financial information for optimal decision-making and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations for a listed entity and providing expert guidance to divisions and service functions on financial matters.To apply, please send your CV toDuties:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely consolidated financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Compile consolidated annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Assist with monthly reporting to the group and analyse divisional financial submissions.
  • Coordinate the budgeting process and prepare the final budget submissions.
  • Drive the three-year planning process and facilitate ad hoc financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and JSE listing requirements.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
  • Matric (Garde 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Hoours / CTA
  • Qualified CA(SA)
Experience:
  • Completed SAICA Articles
  • 3 to 5 years of post-article experience.
  • Experience in retail accounting is a plus.
  • Strong IFRS technical knowledge and experience in group consolidations, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to listed companies, including the Companies Act and JSE listing requirements.
