Group Financial Manager
Job Description
Manage, encourage, and motivate the financial team to achieve departmental and business goals
Implement accounting processes and controls regarding fixed assets, stock, debtors, loans, creditors, VAT, and cashbook
Ensure best practice processes are in place to ensure compliance with Income Tax legislation and BBBEE regulations
Translate business objectives into measurable and achievable targets for the finance team
Implement audit requirements and processes to ensure the audit is performed effectively and timeously
Maintain the necessary banking facilities in collaboration with various banking institutions
Control group cashflow to ensure operational requirements are supported
Manage the budget and forecast process via an interface with the operational financial managers
Ensure efficient financial information systems and that financial reporting is aligned with group reporting requirements
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 Years of post-article Financial Management experience
Minimum of 3 years of management experience within a Senior Manager level
Agriculture, Retail, FMCG, and Logistics experience beneficial
Ability to report to EXCO
Extensive Excel and Sage skills

CA(SA)
