A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their vibrant finance team.
As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Apply principles of accounting to analyse financial information.
- Prepare financial reports for group and all statutory entities.
- Preparation of Financials for Group and all statutory entities.
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
- Install, modify, document and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and control procedures.
- Taxation compliance across the group.
- BEE Working with Consultants and various departments, driving the timeline.
- Review and release of all company payments FNB/Standard Bank.
- Managing external audits.
- Review of VAT calculation and submission.
- Reviewing and completion of Monthly Board packs.
- Assisting sites and sales staff with financial queries.
- Maintaining company documentation relating to WCA, Tax and Banking.
- Fixed Asset Management.
Completed Finance degree
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Experience:
Minimum 5 - 10 years experience
Manufacturing industry is preferred
