Presentation of group consolidated results to the groups executive management on a monthly basis
Preparation of group reporting templates and coordinating quarterly, interim and year end reporting across the group
Preparation of group consolidated financial statements for half year and full year results
Planning and controlling the annual external audit process
Assisting with preparation of annual integrated report.
Preparation of quarterly group board reporting (CFO report, Solvency and Liquidity etc.)
Preparation of technical accounting papers relating to group accounting issues
Reviewing of technical accounting papers and opinions prepared by subsidiaries
Update of group wide accounting policies;
Reviewing the JSEs annual pro-active monitoring report to the audit committee
Management of the consultation with the auditors on technical accounting matters
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
Matric
BCom Accounting
BCom Accounting Honours
CA(SA)
Experience:
Completed SAICA articles.
6 - 8 years post articles experience in a group reporting role
Proven knowledge of IFRS 9 will be highly beneficial
Proven experience in preparation of group consolidated AFS in line with IFRS
