An established and local business is searching for an experienced accounting professional to join them at their Northern Suburbs offices to perform the inhouse financial management function for a large group of companies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the required qualification and experience to gain valuable post-articles exposure to the accounting and financial management functions of a group of companies. The group operates in the Manufacturing and FMCG space and will be dual location based in Bellville and lower West Coast.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years accounting and finance experience, and completion of SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA articles is required, with additional experience a bonus. A candidate with the intention of a long-term commitment would be viewed favourably.
Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar.
• Completed SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA articles.
• Professional qualification such as PA(SA), AGA(SA) or CIMA designation.
• Minimum 3 years' experience.
• QuickBooks, Caseware, Xero Accounting systems experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel with knowledge of financial modelling, pivot tables, finance formula etc.

High-level overview of required tasks:

• Compilation of monthly Management Accounts.
• Preparation and compilation of yearly Independent Review files for all group companies.
• Review accounting processing of accounting clerk and provide assistance where necessary.
• Review creditor reconciliations and prepare payments for approval and load on banking platform.
• Tax management of group and individuals.
• Vat review, management and submissions.
• Ad hoc tasks and required.

Remuneration:
R300,000 to R420,000 ctc per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
