Job Description

We are looking for a Dynamic individual who can apply both the theoretical knowledge of the Finance sphere with Business savvy.

The successful individual will operate in a high pace environment that requires a great understanding of the day-to-day operation of a finance department, whilst creating, generating and steering the financial direction of the business.

The successful individual will be responsibility for ensuring the following:

• Oversee the efficient and effective completion of all day-to-day financial duties. This includes - all Creditors and Debtors are correctly managed, captured and processed.
• Management of Finance staff in order to maintain a high-performance environment.
• Creation, management, and reporting of the Company's cashflow.

• Cashflow prediction modelling and management
• Manage daily banking function.
• Creation, management and overseeing of true budgets for all business units
• Liaising with relevant parties and managing strategic financial partnerships.
• Ensuring accurate and timely debit order submissions occur.
• Benchmark best practise and apply these within the business.
• Manage Refund payments.

• Ensure intercompany transfers occur correctly and are properly administered.
• Review salaries prior to payment release
• Review of Age Analysis.
• Ensure that the yearly audit is completed correctly and that all issues or questions are addressed in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all management reports are completed on time and are accurate.
• Complete all duties as reasonably expected.

• Create, review and manager the Management pack ensuring that this remains available as per the required deadlines.
• Provide daily/ weekly and monthly reports regarding the financial position of the company
• Create and develop Financial Models for the Company
• Report and manage accurate forecasting models as required.
• Utilise all available data in order to guide the development of financial policies and decisions within the Company.
• Ensure recommendations are submitted based on performance indicators.
• Provide feedback to all required parties on a weekly/ monthly basis.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of the monthly and yearly journals for:

• Fixed assets
• Debt collection
• Depreciation
• Deferred Revenue

Qualification

• Qualified CA - 5+ years post qualification.
• BCom Accounting degree or Similar
• SAIPA or SAICA articles completed

Experience

• 5+ years of Managerial experience
• 5-10 years working within the Finance Sphere.
• Experience of Microsoft Business Central will be beneficial.
• Corporate experience background

Skill and Personality

• Great people Management.
• Exceptional Financial Understanding with regards to financial practises.
• Detailed understanding of Company taxation Legislation and Corporate practises.
• Hunger for Growth - want to become an FD/ CFO
• Find a way to allow business to operate without placing the Company at risk (Make a plan mentality).
