Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Group Accountant to join a leading organization within the IT, Telecommunications sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified CA(SA) with post-articles experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage group consolidations for multiple entities across different regions.
- Oversee multi-currency and FOREX transactions, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.
- Support the month-end and year-end reporting process, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
- Collaborate with auditors, external stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives and system optimization within the finance function.
- CA(SA) qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' post-articles experience in a Group Accounting or Financial Reporting
- Industry experience in IT, Telecommunications, or Financial Services is advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience in multi-currency and FOREX accounting is essential.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
