Group Accountant
Job Description
Job Summary Our client is a leading player in the IT and telecommunications sector, providing cutting-edge connectivity solutions and technology infrastructure to businesses across the region. They are looking for a Group Accountant to take ownership of the consolidated financial reporting function, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial information across multiple business units. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, tech-driven environment and is eager to contribute to strategic financial decision-making as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and prepare consolidated group financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and all relevant statutory requirements
- Review and analyse financial performance across subsidiaries, identifying risks and opportunities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Qualified CA(SA)
2+ years post article experience
Consolidations and Forex experience
