Job Description
A Group Based in Johannesburg looking for an accountant to assist with the daily, and monthly functions to report to the senior accountant. Job Requirements:
- Accountant for 3 group companies
- Daily import of bank accounts
- Cash book posting
- Posting debtors receipts
- Capturing creditors invoices
- Capturing Customer invoices for approval
- Allocation of certain expenses against project
- Preparing Weekly/Ad Hoc payments for review
- Loading of payments in the bank
- Management of supplier banking details and beneficiaries in the bank
- Control of credit cards, and reconciliation of credit card receipts
- Completing credit applications for review
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations
- o Bank reconciliations
- o CRM vs Accounting system
- o Intercompany Loans
- o Fixed Asset Register to General Ledger
- o VAT
- o Balance Sheet Recons
- o Payroll to provident/medical aid funds
- Preparation of payroll
- Preparation of sales commissions calculations
- Preparation of EMP201 and VAT201 reports
- XERO
- XERO Projects
- Dext
- Approvalman
- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelors (Preferred)
- Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
