Job Description
We are currently seeking an innovative and dedicated Graphic Designer to join our company in Muizenberg, Cape Town.
Charlotte Rhys was created in Cape Town, South Africa by two dear friends with one shared vision; to develop premium fragranced products that celebrate the natural world whilst respecting its resources.
Today, our team has grown and so has our global following. With a presence in high-end hotels and elite retreats across South Africa, Charlotte Rhys products are enjoyed by tourists and travellers from around the world. And as news spreads about our luxurious, vegan, cruelty-free collections - so does demand!
You will collaborate with our sales and marketing department to create effective and eye-catching images and campaigns to increase our online engagement and sales. Your job duties include developing graphics for digital platforms and print campaigns that enhance our accompanying text and convey an accurate message. Our ideal candidate has a substantial portfolio of successful campaigns and is proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Blender.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and sales team on project concepts
- Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
- Develop product illustrations, logos, and other graphics as needed
- Packaging Design
- 3D Renders through Blender
- Advise on best practices and optimisations throughout design project
- Present designs to the team
- Implement feedback and changes when appropriate
- QA designs for errors
Graphic Designer Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, design or a related field (preferred)
- 2 years experience
- Portfolio of designs used in successful marketing campaigns
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop and Blender
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- Experience with both print and electronic media
- Attention to detail
- Time management and organisational skills
- Ad hoc duties
