We are looking for a Graphic Designer (m/f/d) with experience in Motion Design and a keen interest in AI-supported creative workflows to join our remote team from South Africa. You should have at least 1-2 years of experience in designing advertising projects, ideally in digital advertising or online marketing, either in an agency or on the advertiser's side. You are comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, and scalability in design processes. Excellent English skills are essential to collaborate effectively in our international team.
Tasks
Development of AI-supported advertising/marketing concepts for specific target groups with innovative ideas
Design and implementation of video ads and motion content, leveraging AI-assisted animation, editing, and ideation tools alongside industry-standard programs such as After Effects
Creation of HTML5 display ads using Google Web Designer, supported by AI-based optimization and variant generation
Design and adaptation of diverse advertising assets across channels, actively evaluating and integrating emerging AI-powered creative tools and technologies
Creation of scalable creatives, including variants, personalization, and modular design
Evaluation of AI-generated results in terms of brand fit, quality, and performance
Development and testing of AI-supported design workflows
Proactively shaping how AI is used at adlicious, contributing to strategy and implementation rather than just execution
Contributing to the development of best practices for AI in the creative process
Opportunity to pilot new tools, evaluate them, and provide recommendations
Working closely with the whole team to achieve a common understanding of our clients' objectives
Requirements
You have experience with AI-powered design tools and/or workflows (e.g. Midjourney, DALLE, Runway, Pika)
You understand the advertising industry/online marketing and already have experience in this field (previous jobs in digital company, online marketing, marketing agency, media agency)
You have a university degree in design or a similar course of study
You are an expert in Adobe After Effects, with strong proficiency across the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
Preferable: Experience with Google Web Designer or HTML5, CSS, JS
Preferable: Experience using prototyping tools such as Figma to create interactive design mockups
You have a genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies, staying up-to-date with trends to apply them in your work
You have awareness of copyright, licensing, and brand guidelines when using AI-generated assets, and apply generative AI responsibly in advertising contexts
Result-oriented mentality with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
You bring a structured and organized approach to your work
You are a quick learner who thrives in an agile environment
