Requirements



4-year tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Molecular Biology

and Ecology/Environmental Resource Management.



MSc or PhD will be an advantage. Unemployed South African graduates below the age of 35

years who reside in Cape Town



Must be eligible to register with the South African Council for

Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) within 3 months



of appointment.



The internship consists of full-time work during office hours. Driver's license will be an advantage.

Key Performance Areas



Conduct Analysis of Water and/or air quality data in line with

the relevant Quality management systems in place.



Plan, implement, conduct, and participate in research projects

to improve the water and air quality in the City of Cape Town



Use statistical software for data analysis and interpretation. Participate in all activities for the Branch relevant to Blue Drop

and Green Drop.



Assist in Coordinating activities related to development of

Scientific Services in general.



Assist in Coordinating activities related to the establishment

of collaborative agreements with external research Institutions.
