Main Purpose of the Program:

Safal Steel is launching the 2026 Graduate Development Program. The Graduate Program is a program designed to smoothly transition recent graduates from university to the work environment. The program provides challenging and rewarding work to develop our graduates into future leaders and technical experts at Safal Steel.



As a participant of the program, you will:


Learn about the Key brand, culture, and values. Work with experienced individuals who will support you throughout the program. Gain valuable work experience in the Steel industry. Develop your teamwork, communication, problem solving and time management skills. Receive feedback and guidance on your performance and progress.

Strong academic record throughout the course Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good analytical skills Ability to work in a team, as well as independently Advanced computer literacy-Microsoft Office Package The ability to prioritise and multi-task Self-confident and self-motivated Proven leadership skills and self-starter Applicant must be a South African citizen with a valid ID document

Job Specification/ Requirements

Diploma / B Tech - Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) Diploma / B Tech - Mechanical Engineering Diploma/ B Tech - Mechatronic (can be light current and Instrumentation)
